Educational psychologists assess a child’s learning and support them and their families to improve their educational outcomes and their mental health and wellbeing.
Support can be through consultations, assessments, group or 1:1 sessions, intervention programmes and individual support plans.
Educational psychologists can be accessed through Children’s Centres, Schools and Nurseries, through the Local Authority as well as sometimes through voluntary and private organisations.
To find out more about these services, contact your local Children’s Centre or your Nursery / School SENCo where applicable.
